Do you enjoy making others happy when they arrive at their home or cabin and see the new furniture you helped sell to them?
Are you awesome at selling furniture and mattresses? If so, then we would like to talk to You!
The position is full-time including some Saturday’s and Sunday’s. With the right candidate the salary is negotiable with an opportunity for commission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Selling furniture and mattresses to guests navigating our 30,000 square foot building
Unpacking furniture/lamps, etc. including light assembly in between customers
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with accuracy
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
Keep the sales floor neat and organized, restocking products as needed
Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
Provide product recommendations based on customer needs
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of a High school diploma
Previous sales experience preferred
Proficiency in cash handling, POS systems, and operating a cash register
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
